Andrew joined the Port of Hueneme in 2007 and has an extensive career in both the Private and Public sectors. His areas of expertise are in Management, Organizational Behavior, and Finance & Accounting with an emphasis in financial reporting and budgeting. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from University of La Verne and a Masters in Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University. He has a broad depth of experience in such industries as Port Authorities, Manufacturing, Government & Defense contracting, Retail, RV Recreational, and Magazine Publishing as well as having owned his own business. He also has over 15 years’ experience working in the Government Special Districts environment.
He is a member of the Senior Executive Management Team and currently serves as the Deputy Executive Director, CFO/CAO, and is the Board appointed Treasurer for the Oxnard Harbor District, which owns the Port of Hueneme. Andrew oversees Finance & Accounting, Budget, Information Technology, Human Resources, Risk Management and Administration and Treasury and has his Facility Security Officer Certificate from the California Maritime Academy.
He currently serves as Chair of the Finance Committee for the American Association of Port Authorities, (AAPA) and is a member of the GFOA, CSMFO, CMTA, CALPELRA, and CSDA. He also serves on the Boards of Ports Renovation Inc. and Banana Festival Inc.
