The Port is the grantee of the Foreign Trade Zone #205, which defers Customs duty until they are ready for U.S. consumption, shipped on to another FTZ or shipped to another country, with the duty deferment still in effect or paying no duty at all.

The port’s intermodal corridor provides streamlined access to major California transportation routes, US Highway 101 and Interstate 5.
